About Us

Enchanted Rocking Horses are traditional wooden rocking horses, handcrafted by Phil Maddy and family. They are of the highest quality ensuring they will become an heirloom for your family to treasure for generations to come.

Enchanted Rocking Horses are filled with character and charm, in essence, seeming like they could come to life and gallop up off their stands.

Our horses are carved from A Grade / furniture quality NZ Radiata and each of our stands are constructed from Beautiful Australian Hardwood timber, hand selected for colour and grain by Phil himself.

As we value all horses and dearly love our own ‘Beauty’ and ‘Andy’ we proudly choose not to use real horse mane and tail on our rocking horses. This also ensures that they are dust and allergy free.
